Theatre 503 is located on Battersea Park Road in Battersea in the London Borough of Wandsworth. It is a performing arts venue which specialises in new work.

Originally founded back in 1982 as a custom-built studio theatre above The Latchmere Pub. The opening production was a new adaptation of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, which proved so successful that the production transferred to the West End.

The original name of the theatre was linked with the pub downstairs, but in 2002, the theatre relaunched under Artistic Director Paul Higgins under its new name of Theatre 503. Paul Higgins left the venue in 2006 and it is now under new management.

The new theatre launched with the European Premiere of 'The Atheist play'.

Theatre 503 has an artistic policy to dedicate its main productions to the best in new writing.
