Señorita México was a national beauty pageant in Mexico, which from 1952 to 1993, was the official pageant responsible for sending the country's representatives to the Miss Universe and Miss World. Señorita México was replaced by Nuestra Belleza Mexico as the official beauty pageant of the country in 1994. Nuestra Belleza Mexico, which is directed by Lupita Jones, the country's first Miss Universe, also obtained the rights of sending Mexico's representatives to the pageants mentioned.
