Danny Jacobs is a tall defender who has the ability to run with the ball. He can also play as a forward, and has 27 goals to his name. He played for Essendon from 1999-2003, before be traded to Hawthorn at the end of the 03' season. Unfortuantely, Jacobs has been plaqued by injuries to his hand, back and jaw.
In 2006 the Hawks reaffirmed their faith in him and signed Jacobs on for another two years.
