The Championnat de France Amateurs 2 is the 5th highest league in French football, after Ligue 1, Ligue 2, Championnat National and Championnat de France Amateurs, and is made up of 128 teams in 8 groups of 16 teams. The teams (both amateur and reserves of professional teams in higher divisions) that top their league are promoted to CFA1, with the 3 bottom teams relegated to the next league down, the "Division d'honneur".

  • This league usually gathers crowds of between 200 and 400 per game.
