Belarusian rock has been developing from the early 1980s. The most important rock bands include Mroja (later as N.R.M.), Bonda, Krama, Kriwi, Neuro Dubel, Ulis, Novaje Nieba, Palac. The most popular rock band now is N.R.M.
Basovišča is the most important Belarusian rock music festival.
